AST6225
Diesel Injector Removal Tool - 2.0TDCi Ford EcoBlue
AST6225 Injector Removal Tool has been designed to pull out Ford EcoBlue diesel injectors in one piece, without need to break off the fuel return connector and the electronic Piezo head which would render the injector unusable.
AST6225 is suitable for mildly seized injectors only, as described in the OE General Service Bulletin. Important Note: Ford General Service Bulletin FGSB-7024 states that the applied torque must not exceed 25Nm.
If the injectors cannot be removed using AST6225, the injector should be split. The uppermost part of the injector, comprising the fuel inlet and upper injector body can simply be unscrewed, then a suitable injector removal tool should be used to extract the remaining body and nozzle of the injector, such as AST6260.
