- For difficult to access spark plug threads such as those positioned beneath the vehicle bulkhead or in a motorcycle frame.
- Rigid construction to avoid cross threading.

Typical applications include: Ford Transit Custom PHEV fitted with a 1.0 Ecoboost Chain Drive Engine mounted directly above a hybrid electric drive unit.
Also, suitable for use on popular 6-cylinder BMW engines that are installed longitudinally (in-line).
